Purdue University Fort Wayne has launched a series of free events to help students and families complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, known as the FAFSA.
Staff from the university's financial aid office will be available for one-on-one help, answering questions and walking families through the form step by step. The sessions are open to current students, prospective students, families and community members.
The university's financial aid director, Ron Herrell, said the goal is to reduce stress and confusion around a process many families find hard to navigate on their own.
All of the sessions are held in Kettler Hall, Room 102, on the Purdue Fort Wayne campus. Dates include Oct. 15 and Oct. 30, 2026, Nov. 9 and Dec. 4, 2026, and Jan. 21, 2027, with afternoon and early-evening hours.
